Owner Marnie Vollmer has been in the hospitality and food service industries for over 20 years. Marnie started working as soon as she could. She took a job in an adult home caring for the elderly and helping in the kitchen. She then spent 4 years in Hawaii where she waitressed and bartended. Returning back home, she continued to waitress and bartend until she opened up and ran her own restaurant and bar for a good period of time. Marnie eventually went back into the adult care business and was an administrator of an assisted living home. She still waitressed and bartended, because she loved the business and meeting new people. Now she is on an adventure to open her home to people from all over the united states. This is why Country Manor Inn exists today. Once you meet Marnie you will never forget her. She has a smile that will light up a room, a willingness to give that goes far beyond and a heart of gold.
